EDUCATION

High School

I attended Kabala Christian Secondary School (KCSS) from 2016, starting in Junior Secondary School (JSS1), also known as Grade 7, through to Senior Secondary School (SSS3), or Grade 12. Growing up in this school, I spent most of my time with my seniors, which ultimately led to my becoming the Senior Prefect and Prefect of Health and Sanitation in SSS3. These roles gave me valuable experience in leadership and teamwork. I also participated in an interschool competition and was actively involved in many school activities to enhance my communication skills and ability to interact with others. KCSS has played a crucial role in shaping my academic and personal development. I often wonder what I would have become without KCSS, which places great emphasis on students' moral behavior

BlueCrest College

I attended Bluecrest College from January 2023 to December 2023, completing two semesters while pursuing a degree in Information Technology. My journey there was an enriching one, as I had the opportunity to meet individuals who shared my passion and curiosity for programming and innovation. Bluecrest College played a significant role in expanding my understanding of technology, providing a clearer picture of how things work in the tech world. The college brought in experienced professionals to share their journeys and insights on the tech infrastructures they work with. I distinctly remember a Jewish man explaining the algorithms behind drone farming and animal rearing, which opened my eyes to the future of remote technologies. In that moment, I thought to myself, "With AI guided by human expertise, life will be easier in the future."

Ajman University

In January 2024, I traveled to the United Arab Emirates to further my studies in Networking and Security at Ajman University. This is where my journey in technology took an exciting turn, as I encountered the advanced tech I had always dreamed of and envisioned. At Ajman University, I had the opportunity to meet individuals who were even more passionate about technology than I was, introducing me to a level of competition I had never faced before. As always, I made it a point to build relationships with my seniors, especially those in their final or higher semesters, which allowed me to learn and gain valuable insights. I worked on real-time projects, participated in competitions, and attended seminars, all of which contributed significantly to my knowledge and experience. To this day, Ajman University has been a solid foundation for my understanding of modern technology.

I took part in the Don Bosco Eco-Project training on environmental awareness, focusing on greenhouse pollution and ways to care for the environment. It was an insightful experience that deepened my understanding and commitment to protecting our planet.

At African Story TV, I work as a Videographer, Graphic Designer, and Website Developer. I create engaging video content, design visuals that amplify African stories, and help build and optimize the African Story TV platform for a seamless user experience. My role allows me to combine storytelling and technical skills while contributing to reshaping Africa's global narrative.

The event also helped enhance my communication skills, as engaging with professionals from diverse backgrounds allowed me to refine my ability to discuss complex topics and build valuable relationships. This experience broadened my knowledge and opened new opportunities in the evolving financial landscape.

Participating in initiatives like the Ajman Tourism Innovation Competition can be life-changing by fostering creativity and critical thinking. It teaches the value of innovation in shaping communities and industries, driving economic growth and sustainability. Through problem-solving and empathy, you gain the skills to create solutions that have a lasting positive impact, making Ajman a better place for both residents and visitors.

2024-Ajman University Coding Battle

Participating in the “Coding Battle” competition at Ajman University was a game-changer for me. The high-pressure, time-bound environment forced me to think quickly, analyze problems, and implement solutions efficiently. It wasn’t just about coding; it was about developing strategies to tackle multiple problems using logic and creativity. The competition challenged me to write cleaner, more effective code, all while keeping pace with the clock. This experience not only boosted my coding speed but also enhanced my problem-solving abilities, transforming the way I approach challenges in programming. It was an invaluable lesson in both technical and mental agility.
